Full Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Food Tour – Ninh Binh Province (L, D)

The local guide will meet you at your hotel, then it’s time for you to experience thousand-year Hanoi Capital, explore Hanoi Street Food by savoring a special lunch at a food stall. A 1-hour cyclo tour will take you back to the hotel and get ready to transfer to Ninh Binh province by air-conditioned car. Have dinner and overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 2: Mua Cave - Tam Coc (B, L, D)

Start your day with a light breakfast before exploring two splendid spots today. First, we visit Mua Cave, which can be seen as a miniature Great Wall of Vietnam, we will then climb to the peak of the cave. From the peak of Mua Cave, you can get the panoramic view of Tam Coc and also Ninh Binh.

Then we go back to the car and transfer to a local restaurant for lunch consisting of some specialties in Ninh Binh as dishes made from a mountain goat. We take a rest for about 30 minutes before visiting the next destination – Tam Coc.

Tam Coc, considered as the Halong Bay on land with its breathtaking view, will not disappoint you. We join the boat trip in Tam Coc to see the amazing scenery of nature, visit 3 magical grottos named Hang Ca (First Grotto), Hang Hai (Second Grotto), Hang Ba (Third Grotto). Next, tourists can row the boat through Ngo Dong River to see the awesome rice field, enjoy the pure atmosphere with the smell of fresh river around karst mountains. Transfer back to the hotel for overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Buddhist Cave - Thung Nham Bird Sanctuary (B, L, D)

After breakfast, the Ninh Binh tour continues by transfer to Thung Nham bird garden and visit Buddhist Cave (Hang But). Because the best time for bird watching is the late afternoon, so we delve into Buddhist Cave first. The cave is about 500 m in length with the magical view of the stalactites and stalagmites, tourists will see a big Buddha-shaped stalactite sitting beside the underground river and an orchard of tropical fruits in the area.

In the late afternoon, we sit quietly on a boat and slowly paddle through Thung Chim (Thung Nham) to discover the features of more than 4,000 birds of 40 species flying back to inhabit every day. It’s the best time to take nice photos and immerse in wildlife. Back to the hotel for accommodation.

Day 4: Ninh Binh – Hanoi Departure (B)
