Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
You will be welcomed and picked up at Noi Bai International airport by the local guide and driver, then transfer to the hotel. Have dinner at a local restaurant in the Old French Quarter.
You have a free evening for relaxation and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L, D)
After breakfast, follow the local guide to explore the metropolis Hanoi with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, and a series of attractions here. Your day packed with a variety of scenery and places to visit. First to Hoan Kiem lake, then Ho Chi Minh Complex, Hanoi Old Quarter, visit some sacred places and watch the sunset in Long Bien Bridge. In the evening, you will enjoy the Vietnamese art through a traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet Show. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Start your day by the drive to Halong Bay and have breakfast en-route. Get on the boat and savor a welcome drink and lunch of local seafood. Check-in cabin and then start cruising around the bay the discover the amazing karst formations, and stop for a walk through the Sung Sot Cave. Have time to enjoy the scenery here with a lot of activities.
Have a wonderful sunset dinner in the local restaurant before back to your cabin. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Ninh Binh province (B, L, D)
Today, we have the morning cruising Van Gia floating Village for visiting, kayaking, then we go to Bai Tu Long Bay and other splendid spots in Halong. Get back to Halong city for lunch, we will then drive to Ninh Binh and overnight here.
Day 5: Explore Ninh Binh (B, L, D)
Cruising along Ngo Dong river, visit Bich Dong pagoda. Have lunch in a local restaurant and transfer to the Phat Diem Cathedral. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 6: Ninh Binh Province – Mai Chau (B, L, D)
Visit Dinh and Le temple and then drive forward to Mai Chau valley. Strolling around Poom Coong and Lac Village. Stay overnight at the traditional Thai house on stilts.
Day 7: Mai Chau – Hanoi – Sapa (B, L, D)
Leave Mai Chau behind, we move to Hoa Binh to visit Muong Village and have lunch in Hoa Binh, then back to Hanoi. You have free time in the afternoon to dine out or shop in the Old Quarter and prepare for a night train to Lao Cai, Sapa.
Day 8: Sapa Trekking – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)
Arrive in Lao Cai in the early morning then transfer to Sapa. Check-in and have breakfast in the hotel, ready for a trek to Lao Chai Village, home to Black H’mong minority and Ta Van Village of Giay Tribal Village. Keep going along the bottom of Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village, the most beautiful area in Sapa. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in the local family.
Day 9: Sapa – Hanoi (B, L, D)
Enjoy the first shine of the mountainous area morning, have breakfast and continue the trek through the bamboo forest and reach Giang Ta Chai Village, home to Red Dzao people. Have a picnic lunch at Red Dzao village. Visit the local families in the village and then drive back to Sapa. Ready for a night train back to Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi – Perfume Pagoda (B, L, D)
Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning, have breakfast and then transfer to Perfume pagoda. Climbing up to the mountain, visit a lot of temples and pagodas built on the cliff, which will provide you a nice balance of cultural & physical exploration. Savor lunch at a local restaurant before cruising back to the dock. Transfer back to Hanoi for overnight accommodation.
Day 11: Hanoi Departure (B)
Savor breakfast, free time to relax and shopping in Hanoi until our driver transfers you to the airport for your departure flight. Tour ends.
