Detail Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)
Arrival at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, we will be welcomed by friendly local guides and moved to our hotel. After a short break, we will visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century. Then we take a 1-hour cyclo around the old town, admire the view of Hanoi and enjoy the Water Puppet show. Dinner at a local restaurant with specialties and have a good night in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight on the boat (B, L, D)
This morning, we will take you to Halong Bay, which was recognized by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage in 1994 and 2000. After a 180km trip, we will board our overnight cruise and savor a delicious seafood lunch. We will visit some limestone islands, kayak between hidden areas of the Bay, then swim at Soi Sim Beach or challenge trekking to the top of the island. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight on the boat.
Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L, D)
Start a new active day with Tai Chi exercises before breakfast. Then we discover Sung Sot cave - one of the most wonderful caves in Halong Bay and through Ba Hang fishing village, dog island and more. Watch the culinary performances and enjoy lunch before returning to the dock and find our car to take us back to Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi Free - Departure (B)
Free visit and shopping at the Old Quarters or at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.

Excellent! Our tour guide was fantastic! He explained everything clearly so that we weren't caught by surprise such as needing to tip the junk boat rowers and also that we had to buy our own drinks. It was a very long day but he made everyone feel comfortable.

This trip is a must - our guide was funny and informative all day long ( it was a long day but he made it go easy ) a Halong bay was very nice and serene- lunch was very good on the boat - caves were interesting and the bamboo boat ride was calm and soothing. On the whole, this is a must do trip!

The Hanoi Halong Bay tour was very well organized by Tracey. The trip started with a pick up from the hotel at 8 am followed by the drive to Halong Bay - around 170 km from Hanoi with a driving time of 4 hours. we reached in the afternoon and transferred to a big ferry where the lunch was well served. you cruise through the beautiful Halong bay through the day - doing other activities also like kayak, visiting amazing caves of the bay. our tour guide Mr. Tan was very cooperative and provided great service throughout the day.
