Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Night Train to Lao Cai
In the evening, around 20:00, you will be collected and transported to Hanoi Railway Station for an overnight train journey to Lao Cai, a city located near the Chinese border. After a restful night on the train, you will arrive in Lao Cai in the morning, ready for an exciting adventure.
Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Tram Ton – 2800m (B, L)
Upon arrival at Lao Cai Station, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Sapa. Before embarking on the adventurous trip to Fansipan peak, you’ll have a hearty breakfast to fuel up your energy. The journey begins with a visit to the magnificent Silver Waterfall, a breathtaking natural wonder bestowed by Mother Nature. From there, the car will take you to the Heaven Gate, the highest peak of roads in Vietnam, where you’ll be awe-struck by the mesmerizing view of Fansipan, our ultimate destination.
Fansipan peak, not only the highest peak in the Indochina mountains but also a thrilling challenge for adventurers, awaits you. After a pleasant 2-hour trek, we will pause at a picturesque spot in the forest to indulge in a delightful lunch. Following a short rest, we will venture deeper into the campsite, immersing ourselves in the scenic landscapes of Sapa and Lai Chau province that are sure to captivate your eyes. The campsite, situated 2800m above sea level, offers an incredible setting for a well-prepared dinner. You will spend the night at the camp, surrounded by the wonders of nature.
Day 3: 2800m – The Top of Fansipan – 2200m (B/L/D)
After having breakfast, you will commence your conquest of the challenging Fansipan peak. Give it your all to savor the triumphant moment at the summit, where a breathtaking view awaits as your well-deserved reward. Reaching the top signifies your victory over nature’s obstacles. Take pleasure in a satisfying lunch at a perfect location. Following a brief respite, the journey continues with a downhill trek through the lush rainforest. This condensed itinerary requires your utmost focus on each step until we reach the campsite nestled at an elevation of 2200m above sea level. Enjoy a pleasant evening at this serene location, preparing for a restful night’s sleep.
Day 4: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Night train to Hanoi (B/L)
Waking up in the fresh air of wild among the nature here, surely you will feel so comfortable. Continue the adventure downhill through forest until we stop for lunch after around 2 hours hiking. Afterward, we descend through the scenic valley toward Sin Chai village, the home of Black H’mong minority. Located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain and covered by rain forest, the village is protected by Hoang Lien National Park. Arriving the village, walk around and comprehend the local daily life which is still similar to the one of ancestors. Leaving the village, back to your car and return to Sapa where you can celebrate your climbing victory and relax. In the evening, transfer to Lao Cai station for an overnight train to Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Approx: 0,5 hour driving/ 4 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch.
Day 5: Hanoi Arrival
