Apply Vietnam Visa Upon Arrival

You can get a Vietnam visa upon arrival (VOA) at Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Nha Trang or Da Nang Airports. The visa issued is the same as the one issued by any Vietnamese Embassy/Consulate. What you need to prepare is a visa approval letter before arrival, 2 passport-sized photos, and pay a visa processing fee (visa stamping fee) in cash.Vietnam Visa upon Arrival

The visa approval letter is an official letter for you to get the visa stamped on your passports at the VOA counter of the airport on arrival. You should hold in your hands with the letter every time through an agent. Without the approval letter, you can not check in any international flights to Vietnam.

The visa processing fee relates to the type of visa. Normally, you need to pay $45 for a one-month or 3-month single entry visa, $65 for multi-entry with a validity of 1 month, $95 for a multi-entry visa with a validity of 6 months, and $135 for a multi-entry visa with a validity of 6 months. The fee is accepted in USD or Vietnamese Dong.

Note: The process of visa on arrival at the airports is sometimes slow as many people do not queue in order. You should prepare to wait about 15-30 minutes getting the visa stamped at Vietnam airports upon arrival. However, at the peak of the tourism season, you may have to wait for up to an hour or even more.
