Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau (L, D)
You will meet our local guide & driver at your hotel in Hanoi, we will then drive towards Mai Chau. Arrive at Khanh Village and start your cycling journey along the twisting mountain pass to Mai Chau Valley. We take 1 hour for enjoying the spectacular majesty on the way, then we will reach Mai Chau to check in a stilt house and have lunch.
In the afternoon, we continue to ride our bike to visit some local ethnic villages in the area. Your dinner will be served with traditional dishes and you have a chance to relish in the local music performances at the community house. Overnight in Mai Chau.
Day 2: Mai Chau – Moc Chau Town (B, L, D)
Start a day by a scenic drive to Moc Chau, stop at Moc Chau’s welcome gate to get the bikes and start your cycling tour to visit Thai and H’mong Villages. From Chieng Hi hamlet, you’ll ride through Moc Chau tea plantation hills as well as visit Moc Chau dairy farm, several hamlets. Have lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch, you have time to visit tea plantation hills and local villages, communicate with the locals here. Relax and let the plantation hills pass by on your drive back to Moc Chau for accommodation.
Day 3: Moc Chau – Hoa Binh – Hanoi (B/ L)
After savory breakfast with the specialty of Moc Chau town, we have a drive to Dong Bang intersection to get your bikes again and start your cycling trip in an off the beaten trail to Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir. Take a glimpse of the largest manmade reservoir in Vietnam on the way. The next stop will be a small village for lunch with local specialties in the fascinating scenery of Hoa Binh Reservoir.
In the afternoon, you can continue cycling on the rugged mountain road the plains or relax at the stilt house or wandering around. Then, we will pack up the bikes and leave the charming village and get back to Hanoi departure. Trip ends.
